It was hard to decide what to do first. Will I join the plant tour, get some delicious food from the BBQ truck, run by the BBQ World Champion or participate in one of many activities? Why not do everything.
The Mannheim employees and their Family had fun celebrating. The plant tour was a good chance to show family members where we work and what we do all day long, to meet coworkers and see what a crushing plant is all about.
The plant fire brigade presented one of their fire trucks, so everybody could check it out and have a close look. Members of the fire brigade offered box climbing to challenge the bold ones and see how high they can try. Here we could also explain and demonstrate safety for work at height.
We definitely look forward to the next Family Day.
