New Preparation Unit construction project on schedule at Bunge Mannheim

As a new update to the events of April 26, 2010 when considerable property damage was caused at the Mannheim crushing plant and production was brought to an immediate halt, the management at Bunge Deutschland GmbH is today pleased to make the following announcement: ...

    • Demolition of the old boiler house on the site of Bunge Deutschland GmbH is now complete in readiness for the new preparation building (see photo);
    • The piling and strip foundations topped off with the floor slab are expected to be finished by the end of 2010;
    • The current project schedule calls for the works to be fully operational in time for the start of the rape harvest in 2011.
